mginipro Posted April 19, 2004 Posted April 19, 2004 Is it possible to configure FMPro to automatically open a certain database when you start the application? For example, I created a one-layout database with several buttons that script to opening their respective databases. What I'd like is to set up our computers to have this database automatically open when a person starts FMPro. Then they can simply jump to the database they wish to use by clicking a button. FileMaker Version: 5 Platform: Mac OS X Jaguar
Ender Posted April 19, 2004 Posted April 19, 2004 There are examples of Opener files in the "Articles, Tips, Tricks, & Techniques" forum. Just have your users launch the Opener file instead of opening FM Pro directly.
Newbies Egum Posted April 19, 2004 Newbies Posted April 19, 2004 One possible and obvious answer is to put a file of each user computer wich corresponse with that file you whant to open, so just change it
