I would like to have the next card start after field 2 if field 3 is empty...

Can I do this? Thanks!

I have a Data Base of book -imagine 3x5 card with: Title, Author, Have/Want...

So, in printing the cards, most have 1 author, some have two... but, in printing, presently, even with Author2 being empty, I can not get the card to 'slide' up (not leaving author2 space).

Investigate the Sliding/Printing feature.

Hey! I think I tried once and it worked to use merge fields. Maybe try that too. Merge is cool because if you enter three fields but the middle is blank, the third just moves up into the place of the second. I use it all the time for addresses. Hope that helps also although Vaughan I know is much smarter.

Thanks Everyone - I will try making the whole cards slide -and- look at seeing if I can use merge too.
