Is there a way to reprogram the wheel on a mouse on windows, through scripting in filemaker, and so this new behaviour only applies in filemaker?

Basically I'd like to be able to trigger a script when a user scrolls the mouse up or down.

A customised 'next/previous record script'

Anyone know of any plugins for this?

I'll be solving the ctrl+up and ctrl+down by using menumagic securefm from www.nmci.com

Are there any other plugins that can do mouse related scripts such as this?

Or is there a plugin which can activate scripts when a record is changed/viewed?

Basically I'm trying to customise filemaker and would like to know if I can do custom record up/down scripts so I can hide the status area.

The only problem now is for users using a wheel mouse.

I only need to do this in windows.

I'm using filemaker 5.5 on win2000 and windows xp.
