Batfastad Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 In windows you have the status bar at the bottom of the screen. Is there a way to disable that through scripting? If not I'll just have to send some keystrokes to get rid of it using my opening script.
Vaughan Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 The status bar with the zoom and show/hide status area icons on it? AFAIK there is no way to disable it, however you can use script steps to lock the zoom level and lock the status area.
RalphL Posted May 25, 2004 Posted May 25, 2004 You can remove the Status Bar in Windows with the SecureFM Plug-in fron NMCI.
Batfastad Posted May 25, 2004 Author Posted May 25, 2004 Nope not that one. There is a bar in windows underneath that called the status bar which is present in most windows apps - and can indeed be disabled in filemaker on windows using an option in the view menu. I just wondered if there was a way to do this using scripting. Thanks for the info regarding the SecureFM plugin. It seems that plugin has laods of useful functions - especially with the menumagic addin - the ability to reprogram shortcut keys?! YES PLEASE Thanks Ben
