I am trying to insert a .jpg taken by a Fujifilm s5000 into a database. When I do this, I receive the above mentioned error. What's even weirder is I can insert a .jpg from other digital cameras that are bigger without a problem. Any ideas out there?

Hi, Tammy! Hmm... I wouldn't think so, but it could be something like a JPG parse error. For example, there are JPG files I can view in a browser and open with the full version of Adobe Photoshop but cannot open in a limited edition of Photoshop (LE). JPG's are apparently not all the same. You can probably use Photoshop or iPhoto to batch process the JPG files into something FM can read.

Just a guess, though.... hope it helps.

I don't see an Error 53 listed as a FileMaker Error,

I did find an Error 53 that is described as:

"The network path was not found."

BTW, I have pictures that were taken with the Fujifilm camera that my daughter sent to me, and they seem to be fine when Inserting them into my file.
