I'm new to FM. First time using slide command. I have been able to get everything to slide into position the way I want except the layout won't decrease in size, therefore, the smaller records have a large amount of space at the end. I have a background color selected, don't know if this has any effect. I also added a bold line (which slides) at the end of the layout to show the separation of records. How do I fix this problem.

Are you sure you have checked the "reduce size of the enclosing part" for ALL your sliding objects ?

Yes I did check "reduce size of the enclosing part" but I seemed to have missed checking that box for the last object on the page. Oops. Thanks for your help.

Grab the bottom of the layout body and run it up against the bottom of the lowest field on the layout. (move it up until it won't go any higher because the fields are in the way.) When the fields slide up and shrink, the bottom of the layout should shrink with it.
