Portal Problems

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am converting my FM5.5 database to 7.0

I'm getting some ghost lines in my portal, is there anyway to get rid of them ? ( see attachment )

Thanks,

I'm in Form View

What does it look like in Layout Mode? How far down does the body extend compared to where the portal stops?

It's a known bug -- the last portal row gets duplicated and generally exhibits goofy behaviour.

I have just experienced the same problem, but oddly it is only happening on one portal, all the others are behaving ok. does anyone know of a fix for this. i have already upgraded to 7 vo.2 and that didn't work.

Also, since upgrading, word wrapping seems to be all screwed up, unless we put returns in at the end of a line we're ending up with words being split and unreadable text. Any one else suffering this or am I missing the blindingly obvious somewhere.

I have found a workaround for the problem.

The portal is a white filled object which is over a light grey background.

Even though I had the lineweight of the portal set to NONE,

the portal had hairline grey lines the same color as the background in it.

When you zoom out some lines are still there and others disappear.

Setting the lineweight of the portal to HAIRLINE and the color to white ( the same as the fill color ) causes the lines to dissapear.
