kiwiora Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 I swear i'm not going mad... I have a table - publications. I add fields into it. I do all manner of things - no worries. I close the db. I open and the fields have disappeared. I have it set to automatically save changes to layout. On the flip side - I have another table (same database) which is not related to publications in any way. It won't let me create a new record saying that there is no table. BUT THERE IS. double checking the layout reveals that the fields are associated as does the fields and relationships. Do i have a bug in my db or something else??? Any help would be appreciated.
MoonShadow Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 In Layout > Layout Setup, is it pointing to the correct table occurence in 'Show Records From'? You must always specify the table each layout should use. It sounds like you might have them reversed.
kiwiora Posted July 13, 2004 Author Posted July 13, 2004 As I said in my post I've checked the layout setup and it's got the correct table etc. So it's not that.
PiedPiper Posted July 17, 2004 Posted July 17, 2004 Hey guy. when nothing appears on the layout, is it table layout with no records? I did that once. Also might check File references to see if something broke. Does your TO graph look right? How's the weather in Aussie land? We're burning in Utah.
