Does anyone know of a digital camera that works well with FM Pro. We have a setup right now were we take photos via a webcam, name them, save them to the server, then use the troi plugin to reference them in a container. We would like to simplifiy this by doing everthing in FM maybe using DDE, I am not sure.

The users are not very computer savey so we need this to be as simple as we can get it.

We are using a Canon 5MP model IXUS500 that is permanently connected to the computer and all the controls including focus, etc. and shooting are controlled from the computer through the software. The image is downloaded, cropped into a jpeg and the RAW image then discarded. It is placed in its own folder and a reference to it is had from the FM record. This is for a database of books and archival newspaper articles. It is quick to create the record and is done by a group of volunteers with only basic data entry training. We did have to get a longer USB lead though!
