Font Problem

Hello,

Has anyone had a problem where the fonts displayed on screen change to a different font? We are running FMP6.0 on a few machines, all accessing a server running FMServer 5.5. The OS on the machines is Win XP. The problem is only occurring in Filemaker, we have other applications running and they don't have this problem. Originally we thought that it was a corrupted font, so checked them all but it has not cured it. The problem occurs in a number of files, but not always at the same time. (e.g. we can change window from a file that has the problem to another file that we know has displayed the problem in the past and find that the second file is OK)

Closing Filemaker and restarting cures the problem.

Would anyone have any ideas?

Nope, never heard of it... but I'm not the definitive expert either.

Basic stuff: make sure all machines are running latest patches of OS and FMP client -- should be FMP 6.0v4.

What are fonts that are misbehaving?

The fonts that we are using are Verdana and Arial, we chose them as they are standard system fonts.

Have heard that SP2 for Win XP can cause some problems for FMP, so we are not game to try that yet. Would have expected problems in other apps if it was system related. We have 6.0v4 FMP.
