I am very new to FileMaker Pro 7 (started using it yesterday). I have two popup lists in my layout one for States and one for Routes(I have two seperate tables, one for states & stateID and another for route, routeId & stateid). I need to populate Routes based on the State selected. How can I achieve this? If scripting can achieve this please tell me how to go about it.

Do you want to have a comprehensive list of routes for a given state? If so create a relationship between your States and Routes tables using StateID as the match field. Then place a portal to the Route table in your State layout. Within this portal place the Route and RouteID fields.
