HI,

I'm using the "send mail" in a script from FM to OSX Mail.

Everything works swimmingly, except that my email field in FM ( looks like this - [email protected])

but ends up like this:

<[email protected]> <[email protected]>

in the "to" section OS X Mail app.

Can anyone show me how to NOT have the email duplicated?

Hi, Chas! Hmm... that's odd. I don't use Mail but I know other folks have and not mentioned any problems like that. Have you tried making a new script from scratch just to see if the problem repeats itself again? Eudora is another great alternative you can try, too. You may want to try downloading it, changing Mail Preferences to use Eudora as your default e-mail client, and then see if Eudora shows the double-address, too. If so, the problem is probably with the script. If not, the problem is probably with Mail / FileMaker.
