Hi

i'm a newbie to FileMaker so excuse my ignorance. I've had a look on the forums but haven't seen anything specific to what i need to find out.

I'm aware that i will need to design different layouts to fit certain screen resolutions to utilise the whole area of the screen.

so does anyone know if its possible to use scriptmaker to run a script that autodetects the screen resolution and loads the relevent layout with the database?

Just use: Scripts | Adjust Window [Maximize]

To get the screen resolution use the Get(ScreenWidth) and Get(ScreenHeight) functions from scriptmaker. Then an If or Case statement can direct the script to the proper layout.
