Hello,

After doing a find to reduce a database of several hundred items to 5 shown records, I would like to sort them in an order that is unrelated to any of their properties... just what I think looks good. How to do this?

Create a number field, set the desired sort position in the field, and sort by the field. It's also possible to script this process, with up and down buttons, and the field doesn't have to even be visible.

Here are a couple of demos I have downloaded in the past that may help you. At least one is from Brad Stanford. If the other one is yours let me know so I can give you proper credit.
