Newbies ramsforever Posted January 7, 2005 Newbies Posted January 7, 2005 I have a coach who uses a runtime version of FileMaker Pro 6. It is a program that keeps track of player stats and weights and such. He has two files that say they are damaged. That I should use the recover command. Problem is, I don't have that option on the runtime version of the program. Is there anyway to get this "Recover" program without buying the full blown version of FileMaker 6 ? Thanks in advance.
QuinTech Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 Hi, Ramsforever, and welcome to the Forums! Hold down Ctrl-Shift when you double-click the solution's file for opening. This will give you the runtime equivalent of Open Damaged File. HTH, Jerry
Newbies ramsforever Posted January 7, 2005 Author Newbies Posted January 7, 2005 I am confused. Hold down Ctrl-Shift when you double-click the solution's file What do you mean by solution's file? Thanks
Newbies ramsforever Posted January 7, 2005 Author Newbies Posted January 7, 2005 Never mind.... Thank you very much!
QuinTech Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 You're welcome. You figured it out, but for the benefit of future readers, i should have been more clear: Hold down Ctrl-Shift when you double-click the executable file that runs the application (or the shortcut to that executable). This will give you the runtime equivalent of Open Damaged File.
