I have a field with the persons birth date and I want to add a field that will show thier current age. Anythoughts.

Use an unstored calculation field of

Year(Get(CurrentDate)) - Year(dateofbirth) - (Get(CurrentDate) < Date( Month(dateofbirth); Day(dateofbirth); Year(Get(CurrentDate)) ))

I just did a search using [color:blue]+Birthday +Calculation and got several threads on this subject. (include the plus sign with the words. Also, there is a ? icon above the Keywords you should review.)
