Define Field Sort (view by)

everytime i open my db the field sort (view by) is reverted to creation order, is this my issue or something with FMP8Adv?

That is the way that ALL versions of FileMaker work. It remembers what was used in the Last finds and sorts, but you have to run them again, and it retains the found set, but it automatically goes to the first record of the found set, and reverts it to the creation order.

I don't know, rivet, it works for me (uses the last sort order.)
