we have a number of records, one of the fields is a container field, and sometimes there's a value, and sometime's there's not. in the instances where there is a value, sometimes the value is linked, and sometimes the value is embdedded within the filemaker file.

the question is, how can we identify which records have an embedded container value?

this is very important, so if you have any ideas that would be great.

it is 6.0v4 on a windows platform. svr 5.5v4.

ok, how about saving the contents of a container field?

we can easily identify which container fields have a value using the If IsEmpty logic, but is there a plugin which will allows to save the value (file) out of a container field?
