I am having a major problem with very slow response in FMP8. I am using Dragon Naturally Speaking and when I use it in FM7, text is entered into a text box as I speak at a very quick rate - hardly any delay. Now, in version 8, it is soooooo slooooow. I can type much faster - and I'm a hunt and peck typist! It seriously is about one letter per second. One other major problem I have noticed is this: Create a layout and drag the body down so that it is 7 pages long. Create a single text box (not text field, just a text box) that stretches the entire 7 pages. Then type some text into the text box. The delay is unbearable. Now open this same file in FM7 and type - NO DELAY! Is it me or is something really wrong here?
