Newbies c1p8 Posted December 1, 2005 Newbies Posted December 1, 2005 Hello!, I am a new user of this group and I am italian and I can only speak a little english... sorry. I have a problem: I have a DB of filemaker that access through SQL on a Microsoft Access file. Until version 5 I inserted "Enter" in a field with CTRL+ Enter and this is read correctly from an electrical cad who read the table through ODBC But from version 8 CTRL+Enter inserts a different char code. Two questions: - from what it has been replaced the CTRL+Enter? - like I make to insert a specific ASCII code?
Raybaudi Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Hi c1p8 i think that this can solve your problem. It is a simple free plugin, old but still working under 8, that makes tiny things, among which: convert a numeric value to the ASCII equivalent character that you can use in your calculation ! BTW: it's very interesting to write in English to an Italian person ! :

Puoi darmi qualche dritta? Sergio
Raybaudi Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Hi Daniele, considered that you are from Rome, we try to understand to us little better using this ours little used language (I hope is not in contrast with the rules of the forum...) I already had downloded the program that you have indicated to me but, sincerely, I do not understand just as it works. Can you give some information to me? Sergio Hi Sergio, we have to speak in the international language ( English) here... I gived you a reply to the Italian Forum you had posted the same problem ! ;)
