spelling dictionary not saved after exiting

I installed FileMaker Pro 6v4 on a US English Win XP system.

In FileMaker, a UKEnglish dictionary is selected. I don't know why it takes UKenglish in the first place. Therefore, I choose in Filemaker as main Dictionary USEnglish. When I exit FileMaker, and start it up again, the UKEnglish dictionary has been selected again.

Why doesn't FileMaker remember this?

Is this a bug?

I would think that it is picking up the information from your system.
