I have recently converted a set of v5 files to v8 via v7. The v7 route was a temporary one, awaiting client's approval to purchase v8.

Anyway, the problem I am having is with text wrapping in browse fields.

Specifically, text input in data fields defined as a pop-up list. What happens is the text end

d of a line it doesn't justify/hyphenate properly.

I've checked all options related to the field - text format/field definition/behaviours - everything. I've tried using different fonts, adjusting the box dimensions, etc. I give up.

Curiously, the problem doesn't surface using new files created in FM v8 but applies to the files converted from v5.

Any ideas of a fix, other than recreating the files from scratch?

Check the file options for the file, to ensure "roman" line-breaking is turned on. I remember there was some issue with that during conversion.
