Text Wrap of Merged fields in textbox

In the labels we print using merged fields (often calculated), the first line does not wrapped properly. It will often wrapped somewhere outside the textbox, obscuring several words.

This behavior seems to be a bug in the program since the wrap can appear perfect when we come upon a record, then suddenly change to an improper wrap before our eyes or when we click on the layout somewhere.

The file has been through several conversion since we started out in Filemaker 3.

Is there any way to see if Filemaker sees this behavior as a bug to be fixed. The recent update does not correct the problem. Roman word wrap is checked. Recreating the layout in 8 does not solve the problem. The problem occurs in both Windows and OS X. Etc.

Check to see if you have Roman language line breaking active.

Roman Language Word Wrap being set seems to be the default since none of the files that make up the system has it unset. Also Asian Language Word Wrap being set also seems to be the default since the same situation prevails. Unchecking them and rechecking them has no effects.

We do our printing with Filemaker Developer 7 v3 since the same labels using that version has the text in the same textbox properly wrapped. We use 8 because when we upgraded from 6, 8 was what was available from the educational reseller. Filemaker Developer 7 is my personal copy.

We are using OS 10.3.9, the earliest version that Filemaker 8 can run in.
