I have just installed fm 6 on OSX and was hoping to use it to store and print pdf files. I can store them OK and they look good on screen, but they print very poorly. I want to use them as proofs of ads, so they need to look good. I called FM Tech Support, and they don't support 6 anymore but had never heard of the problem. I also have version 8 (but not in the other environment where I want to do this) and the pdfs print great. I also could find nothing on the KB on filemaker.com a similar problem was fixed for eps files. with the .04 update.

Anyone come across this or do I need to update the location to 8 at great expense?

How are the pdfs being stored?

By stored, I assume you mean are they embedded and stored in the database or are they linked to the external file. It doesn't make any difference; I have tried it both ways.
