March 10, 200619 yr I am looking for a brief, general description of the technical approach taken in database design, management and analysis I would be eternally grateful. I am responding to a request for proposals to provide communications services to a federal agency and need to respond to this section and we don't have anything formal developed in this regard. Thanks john Edited March 10, 200619 yr by Guest
March 10, 200619 yr Are you asking for something line this: Do a Google Search for [color:blue]define:database
March 10, 200619 yr Author No, but thanks. I need to be able to say "this is the process we go through to develop and manage a database." Step 1, blah blah ; Step 2, blah blah, etc. Its really just a bunch of crap, but I've got to respond to what they are asking for.
March 10, 200619 yr Ah, developer 101. Look in the FileMaker Resource Topic Area for some of the books that are recommended. I have one that is called; Special Edition, Using FileMaker Pro 5, by Rich Coulombre, and Jonathan Price that really discusses just that. I haven't looked at the most recent version, but I'm sure that it would have this info too. I can usually find the one I have on Ebay or Amazon HTH Lee
