Sorry the subject might be somewhat cryptic there.

Is it possible for Fm8Pro (trial) to coexist on the same machine as Fm7 Developer does?

I'm using a Mac, Panther 10.9.x. i just want to make sure that my fm7 which I still depend on does not get mucked up.

For example will fm7 files when double cliked then open in fm8? I'm wanting to try fm8pro out with out havin to reinstall fm7.

I have system 10.3.9 and run v6 developer, SE v7, and Advance, most of the time they are all open at the same time. No Problems.

Thanks for the response. What happens when you double click on a filemaker file in Finder? Does it open fm7 or fm8 or ?
