Hi. I have three licenses for Filemaker 8/8.5. They are being used on a network of 8 Mac and PC computers. I never need to have Filemaker active on more than three computers at the same time, but I need to have the capability of having any three of the eight open. Do I need to buy eight licenses, or can I install multiple licenses on each computer? And if I can have multiple licenses, how can I know what license I am using?

The host will only allow one of each license to have its files open at a time. So you will need additional licenses if you want to allow any workstation to launch at any time.
