Beginner - sharing DB on 2 Macs

I have just founded my company, and am looking for info regarding FM 8.5, hope to find it here. I have read the Missing Manual, and am looking for deeper answers.

We would like to update the database on 2 Mac Books Pro, from the Ecommerce website, so we can build a DB to manage all our customers, produce invoices, control reports and so on.. The problem - we need to have 2 macs, what is the best way to share the same database on the 2 machines?

Would appreciate any info,

Thanks,

Elad

Get a third computer, run FM Server on it to host (share) the Filemaker databases.

If you don't want to spend that much, you might consider getting the third computer and another license of FM Pro instead (FM Pro can support sharing b/w up to five clients)
