I'm unsure if this is new in vs. 9 but I don't recall seeing it in prior versions.

When the dreaded error message appears, "FileMaker has encountered a problem and needs to close" there is now a button in the lower left corner (of that message) which says Debug. I have gotten the dreaded error message three times since vs. 9 and, all three times, I've clicked the Debug button and nothing happens - the message just closes.

I have searched my hard drive for any kind of log file which might have been created from this Debug button and can find nothing. Has anyone else noticed this Debug button and, if so, do they know what happens if it EVER produces a document or helps to debug the crash?

It is possible that I just have never noticed it before. :blush2:

If I remember correctly, that message with that button ( Debug ) comes if you have CodeWarrior in your computer.

Pressing that button, will fire CodeWarrior.
