PHP Site assistant canot open apassword protected file

I try to integrate PHP via FM Server 9.0 access to our standard-Business Solution and have problems when usin the site assistant in combination with a password protectetd Database.

Environement:

FMServer 9.0.2.15

Win 2000 Server 5.00.2195, ServicePack 4, IIS

Access and site assistent work well when using the testfile without password. As soon as I use a password protected account even with unlimited access, I am asked accountname and password when I choose the file. I canot continue, because I always get "invalid Password", and I know it is valid. Tried many times with very simple passwords, no chance. When I remove the password I can open the file and everything works fine. What shall I do?

Thank you for yor feedback

I experienced the same problem. It turned out to be a security setting on IIS.

In Properties of the Default Website: Directory security

->Authentication and access control -> 'Integrated Windows Authentication' should be OFF. Since anonymous access was already enabled I didn't expect this to be a problem. Apparently it is.

Hope this helps.
