I have FMPro 5 running on a mac g3 (OS9). I am using the basic web publishing (the default). it was all working fine and dandy until last week. Now I can't access the database via the web. The browser comes back with "socket is not connected". What's up - it used to work fine & I didn't change any settings (at least as far as I know)!?!?!

Tell us more. Where is the server, and where is the machine browsing the pages: are they on the same machine; the same network; different ISPs; different continents... ;-)

I set up a firewall & forgot to allow port 591 access...

The left hand didn't remember what the right hand did!
