Hi,

I'm looking whether Filemaker Unlimited is good for us.

We need an intranet front end for some databases. FM "can" ODBC, but as far as I understood you have to first "download" the data into the FM database and then you can show them with the web server.

Is this true or is it possible to link FM online via ODBC directly (like "linked tables" in MS Access) to a database (eg. sybase) or even manipulate through FM and ODBC the data on it? Or is it only a passive one-way?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
