I seem to have a problem with FM9 Adv... I get excessive flickering or flashing, screen refreshes usually working in layout mode.

My PC is an AMD Sempron 3300+ running XP Pro and this problem does not happen any other time, except in FileMaker.

The constant screen refreshes are incredibly annoying and hinders any productivity.

Typically, I will get four or five so-called "refreshes" in a row for no reason, and at least one "refresh" just about every time I select a field or other element on a layout.

Does anyone have a clue on how to resolve this?

How many object are on the layout? Do you have a background image? More info please.
