Any way to stop font scanning when loading?

I have a large number of fonts on my system because I do a lot of graphics work. Whenever I start FMP5 it takes it forever to load because it scans through all my fonts. Is there any way to stop FMP5 from scanning all the fonts? Thanks in advance for any advice!

I doubt this can be achieved by FM, I'd recommend using a font utility application (ATM Deluxe or Suitecase) to manage your fonts into sets that load as you need them!
