Yup. After you choose File > Print, go under the FileMaker Pro printing options in the print dialog box, select "FileMaker Pro" and choose "Current Record." Print that record and that will be the printing default.

You may want to automatically run a simple script when the file opens (to do this, select Edit > Preferences > Document... and then set "When opening <<Your File Name>>", Perform Script: ______ ) that runs the Page Setup [Restore, No Dialog] script command to restore your default print setup (that is, to print just the current record).
