Importing/Copy and pasting data

Hello out there and in advance thank you for taking the time to read this message. My question I beleive is simple for someone who has more experience with File Maker Pro.

My database is used for pieces of art. I have the name of the artist and various titles of their pieces.

Fields being used are:

Last name

First name

Title

Year

Medium

Dimensions

I have created a layout (letter) where this information is merged into.

What do I want to do you ask?: I want to e-mail a letter to each artist asking them permission to use their pieces.

So what is the problem? How do I copy and paste the letter so that I can add it to an e-mail.

What have I tried? - I have tried copying and pasting from the preview and browse mode into Word and the e-mail. The letter does not appear in the e-mail and once it is transferred into Word it is done as a picture and I can't get to the text.

Question: If you have any idea how I can accomplish sending the information by e-mail or how I can play with the text - please contact me as soon as possible.
