I am making a db about vehicles. Now i would like to have a page where i can sort every vehicles owner with the first letter "a". I would like to change this value, and sort the owners city with just a klick on a button.

I would like to have predefined sorting rules on specific fields (eg "owners city"), and this sorting rules will run when i klick a button. Just the same as the sort-function in the Filemaker menu, but i want the field and rule to be predefined.

Please help a stupid little man (me...)

Easy, just a lot of work. You'll need to create a script for each and every variation of sort you want, and make a button for each one on the layout for the user to click on.
