GIF import problem

i'm converting TIFF files into GIF format using Photoshop then i tried to import them into FM 5 and sometime computer crash or the GIF image is corrupted (only lines are appear in the FM fields)

My files are on a FM server and when the computer crash the file is no longer available on the server...

Same GIF are OK when i open it with other applications like IE 5, Photo editor, etc...

any idea :
