i have a date field in a file. it is set to indexed, creation date. if i change the date in the field for testing purposes and try to do a find on the date i typed in, it won't find it. tells me no match. it will find the dates that are automatically entered. is it not reindexing when i change the date? or is something else going on?

while i don't necessarily think it will be necessary for the date to ever be changed it is a possibility.

thanks

Dave

Make sure that all you fields are defined as dates and that the date you are finding is in the accepted format.

It sounds like you have your creation date field set as a text field. Let me know if this works...
