October 12, 201114 yr Newbies Hi, I am having a problem with FileMaker Pro 9 in MacBook Pro (Lion). I got an error message "FileMaker cannot share files because another user is already sharing files" when I started my databases. I have tried all the solutions I could find on the internet, but the problem still not resolved. Any help from you will be very much appreciated. Below are what I have tried. 1. Uninstall and reinstall. (no luck) 2. Set IPv6 in Network advance setting to "Linked-local onlly". (no luck, it is not possible to turn it off). 3. No other copy of FM Pro is running 4. No FM Pro server is running in the network 5. unplug network cable from the computer (still getting the error message) Whatelse can I do to get rid of this problem? Thanks a lot in advance. Chi
October 13, 201114 yr FMP 9 is probably not compatible with Lion. From memory, I don't think it was certified for Snow Leopard either.
