Cannot see databases in FMS12 on Lion OS X 10.7

New installation. Using FMS12 and FMPA11. Added a folder path in the Configuration/Databases menu –made sure that it was validated – it was. Checked permissions for the database file(s) and made them Read/Write for ‘Everyone’ and Read/Write for ‘fmserver.’ I can see the validated Folder available in the database list, but no databases show up, even after reboot. I also took the Sample database that ships with FMS12 and moved it to the new folder, but I can’t see it either. Not sure where to go from here…

New installation. Using FMS12 and FMPA11

The new FileMaker 12 Family cannot be used with any prior versions. You will not connect to server 12 with FMPA11 or visa versa.

What Ron said. You need to:

- convert the files to the new .fmp12 format

- host it on FMS12

- install the FM12 clients
