Matt Malyschko Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 I am new to using FMS, and am trying to set it up on my home PC for testing purposes, etc. I have followed all the instructions on how to install, configure, etc., but not entirely sure how to get it onto the web - so I can remote access it without being on my network. On the LAN, it works fine, but I want to test remote connectivity, etc., - how do I go about doing this? I have read any posts I thought would be appropriate in this matter, but can't find any help! Previously I was hosting solutions using IWP, and had port forwarded my PC, etc. and had it working fine. Do I need to take similar steps here? Thanks!
Ocean West Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 You will need to make sure your router has the proper ports open and that your PC that is acting as your server has a static ip and that the router points to it properly.

Yeh I found I needed to put port 5003 to the host computer. Got it sorted!!
