Restarting fmsadmin restarts database server?

Hello-

 

I just ran "fmsadmin stop adminserver" to fix a problem i was having uploading databases and it restarted the entire database server, kicked everyone out, etc. Is that the expected behavior?

 

FMS10 on Mac btw.

stopping the admin server separately is something that only works in 11 and up I believe...
