Pop3it Server-Side Plug-in woes

Featured Replies

Not sure what's causing this, but we've had a great deal of trouble with using the Pop3It plug-in on the server.  (Works just fine on the client side.)

One customer complained about performance issues until we disabled the plug-in, and at another install the plug-in appears to have shut down all of the script schedules, even ones not using the plug-in.   When we try to edit the FM script schedules we get the message "No scripts available for specified account" (untrue, and we get that message for all host files/accounts/scripts).  The server error log gives us a message that we have to restart the script service via the command line (fmsadmin start fmse).

We're hoping that a server restart will do the trick, but we're worried about the problem cropping up again.  Can anybody give us any insight about what might be happening?  (And how to correct it.)  Will this be a problem with any server-side plug-in we use?

Hi,

I'm sorry you are having difficulties with the plug-in.  Are you using the latest version we have on our website?  If so, we may even have a newer internal version we can send you which may help.  Please email our tech support directly at [email protected] and we can send you the latest version we have.

Thanks,

Jake

We're getting this right now too on latest FileMaker Server 12. Strangely it looks like it existed in 10, got fixed, 11, got fixed, now here we are again. Not sure if it is plugin related or not...we're not using POP3it, but we are using Mailit.
