Is there a way to  export the found set from the web browser while accessing through Instant Web Publishing.

I really would have just  expected to see a icon on the tool bar as this is something just about everyone would want to do.

I don't believe that Export is supported through IWP directly.

 

There are a number of ways to achieve the result, but they require a bit of work.
