I have been testing ODBC with the 5.5v1 demo release on Win 2k. Unfortunately, for some reason unknown to me, the remote data access companion will not install. As you probably know this file is called fmrdac.fmx and should be installed into the "Settings" folder. Each attempt (5 total) I do the complete install but this companion does not get installed. Can someone please send me the file so I can complete my testing? I am trying to build a First Class RAD app to connect to a filemaker database and want to know if it will work before I purchase an upgrade to 5.5 Thanks in advance.

That's an extension (fmx) so it should be in the FileMaker Extensions folder. I dunno exactly what it's called in Windows.

Does the trial version do ODBC?
