Is there script or plugin that will allow me to have an email notification sent to a specified email address whenever a new "To Do" record is entered?

That feature is not is there... but it would be a SNAP.   

 

The New To-Do records are added in a couple of spots.  So you need to figure out where you will be adding to-Dos.

 

But... for example... I would look at Layout L150.... which is the To-Do Data Entry screen for Adding a To-Do.  Then GO To Layout Setup...and add a Script Trigger for OnLayoutExit.   That would run a script that runs the Send email command.  

 

Make sense?
