WebDirect and Get(FoundCount) not updating after Omit Multiple

In WebDirect, the following script steps do not behave consistently:

Go to Layout XXX
Omit Multiple Records [No Dialog; Get(FoundCount)]
If Get(FoundCount) > 0 
    Show Custom dialog " It didn't work"
end if

I've tried adding a RefreshWindow and PauseScript steps after the Omit Multiple step, but nothing seems to work : about 50% of the time the found count is the entire table.

 

Any ideas?
