Hello All:

FMsvr 5.5 (runningon a w2k svr) & FM pro 5.5.

I want to secure access to our database hosted by FM svr, since everyone logs in as a guest. At the properties of server>Guest tab: require filemaker pro guest to login to windows domain is checked. However, when Mac user logs in , it'll ask for those credentials, which are provided but do not give access to DB.

the users on the Pc is already logged so not sure whether this automatically counts for filemaker access, since they do get access. The credentials are those someone will use to log in to a share on a w2ksvr.

I also want to secure access via the web by having a password enable the database, the option File menu>access privilges>passwords or Change password is not listed whther I open the Db on the FM server or from a client.
