we are looking for a single seat 5.5->6.0 upgrade, with pricing for higher education. I found the retail upgrade for $150, know where I can find an upgrade with the ed. discount?

Contact a University campus computer shop. Alternatively some large computer retail outlets have a education section.

Actually, FileMaker does not have an education upgrade. This is completely normal for education single boxed products.

Full education versions of software are typically same or less $ than regular upgrade prices... so they expect you to be happy with buying another full education version.

Upgrade pricing is usually (FileMaker included) available for volume liceses.

You are correct, I missed the bit about "upgrade" in the original post.

Usually the educational price is the upgrade price, and upgrades are not offered. At least not here in Australia.
